Anti Defamation League's A World Of Difference® Training Program

Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to partake in an all day school retreat where we were trained by certified members of the ADL to engage in difficult conversations regarding race, religion, gender identity, and sexuality. We began our day by taking a bus to Rosewood Beach, then proceeded by mixing up our tables and playing Question Connection to initiate conversation. Next, we partook in really cool activities called Dominoes, the Lemon Activity, Life Story (with pipe cleaners), and more. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to listen to and engage in conversation with my peers. Not only did I learn many valuable lessons and hear interesting stories, but I made friendships that I believe will last a life time. I am super excited for our next training session!!!!
